Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines. All mine, and all within three weeks of one another. So out of curiosities’ sake, how deep in trouble with the wife do you think I’m in? Meh, moderate, I’d say. I haven’t devoted a ton of time to gaming lately (barring last week, but it was a special occasion), so it hasn’t totally consumed my life. Me getting my balls cut on, thats a story for later on…and I have been milking that, as I still hurt like a sumbitch.

But back to games. RDR: Undead Nightmare (further referred to as UN) has been a BLAST the few times I aged it. I love RDR, and the zombie apocalypse that overruns this world is well done and interesting. Once again, I’m falling in love with the characters, and Bonnie MacFarlane is becoming my video game girlfriend again. Zombie not only affect humans, but its not out of the ordinary to see zombie warthogs, bears and cougars (damn you to hell, zombie cougars!!) Roaming the plains. And they are freaking lethal. Not only them, but respawning zombie citizens plague your journeys as well. I tell you what… John Marston, our lead, is one unlucky sumbitch. If there’s shit to happen, it’ll happen to him. I love the game though, its eerie, exciting, interesting, silly, disturbing and an all around good time. I’m not a fan of westerns, but I love this stuff.

Next is Medal of Honor. I have to say, it really lured me in with early reviews and demos. It looked like a lot of fun in a current military setting. Honestly, I haven’t even completed the first mission for it, or even bothered with online play yet. It’s a case of bad timing.

Call of Duty: Black Ops, though… Woooo boy. I’ve logged about 24 hours on this game with online play only. I’ve totally ate this game up. I love the feel of it, the maps are fun, it’s the right amount of frustration, and its even set in my favorite time period: Cold War 70’s and 80’s. I will try not to go off on a tangent about the 80’s, but no promises. Sure, its another multiplayer first shooter, this is true. New add one really make you customize your character to your liking, with patches, logos, camo designs, outfits, face paint and more. Total win by me. And what’s better? I can take screen shots and video of the games! How bad ass!

Finally, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines. Probably my favorite story driven game, is released today. Can’t wait to jump in on this one. Don’t know much about it, but it was put out exremely quickly by todays gaming standards, almost a year to the day.hopefully it won’t suck. I’m hoping this steps up the series into movie talks.
