Jember – A male fan of Jem.

Yeah, I think I can say that. When I was a kid, she was totally my cartoon girlfriend (And I wonder why I was alone all those years…). The Jem cartoon came on usually after G.I. Joe or other assorted cartoons that I watched, so I more times than not watched it, as well. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it. But, it it was there, and so was I, oh yeah, I’d watch. I even remembered when I was a kid, I wanted a Jem figure in a G.I. Joe scale to have around. The Misfits would have made excellent Dreadnoks.

This all surfaced due to the web comic The Least I Could Do, making fun of ‘Bronies’, guys who followed My Little Pony (That one, I don’t get. Jem & the Holograms were hot, the Ponies are a lovechild between Crayola and a Kentucky Horse farm). And he just made a comment about being ‘Truly Outrageous’, and it just kind of stuck with me. I find it amusing.

Today is the last day of work until Halloween. I had to take some time off to be with the boys while the babysitter is IN FUCKING HONDURAS. Stupid mission trip. It isn’t fair. I wanted some time to blow so I could get some shit done, but Nnnnooooo, can’t have that. So I’ll have to do what I can when I can with watching the boys. On a good note, though, we can hit the zoo and children’s museum whenever we want. So that’ll be fun.

I did some follow-up 3D work on the Coil-Con exclusive for next year. If this works out, it’s going to blow collectors’ socks off. No one’s tried it, so we’ll definitely be making a name for ourselves if it works. If it doesn’t, well, I’ll look like an ass. Joy. Once things are definite, I’ll start posting pictures of what’s coming. I can’t wait! Fortunately, if this fails, I have a solid back up. So we’ll see what happens.
